While to many a simple fruit fly is a nuisance in the kitchen, to a graduate student Alexis working in a genetics lab, the fruit fly is a drastically different beast. Armed with a vial of fruit flies, Alexis sets on a quest to understand the intimate relationship between science, creativity and the city.
